The production process of colored packing tape mainly includes the following steps:
1. Substrate preparation:
Raw materials: BOPP (polypropylene film), PVC, fabric base, etc. Transparent or colored films are made through casting or blown film processes.
2. Gluing:
Evenly apply pressure-sensitive adhesive (such as acrylic adhesive or rubber adhesive) on the film and control the thickness of the adhesive layer (which affects adhesion).
3. Drying:
Dry the adhesive layer at high temperature to cure it and adhere it to the substrate.
4. Slitting and rewinding:
Cut the large roll of tape into small rolls of different widths (such as 48mm, 60mm), and wind them around paper or plastic cores.
5. Printing :
Print logos, text or patterns (such as brand logos, warning words) on the tape through an intaglio printing machine
